In college I was given the assignment of taking at least one picture everyday. Oh god, back then we didn’t have smart phones integrated as ubiquitously into daily life as we do now, so at the time it was actually a little difficult for me. Some days I took a lot of photos and thought that covered me. Eh, not so much.
I am returning to that simple assignment as a way to not be so reactive to the anxiety attacks I inevitably get, especially in my car. Photographs are such a great way to respond to my bodies fight or flight automatic reaction.
And 2018 is all about responding. Enjoy the everyday snaps to stop the attacks.
